The UQI is awarded to outstanding international research higher degree students to cover the cost of living expenses and tuition fees.

Award value:

Tuition fees and $25,849 per annum (2015 rate), indexed annually

To be eligible you must:

> Be an international student studying full-time and onshore in Australia. 

> Be nominated by the enrolling school or institute.

> Be assessed by the Graduate School  as meeting all conditions for admission to the  research higher degree program.

> Not hold a qualification  at the same or  a higher level than the  research higher degree program you are undertaking.

> Not be receiving an award, scholarship or salary providing a benefit greater than 75% of the UQI rate to undertake the research higher degree program.

Students can be considered for scholarship twice.  Consideration can be prior to enrolment, or in any scholarship round up to and including the first round after the confirmation milestone is achieved.

International postgraduate and undergraduate Scholarships from La Trobe University, Australia

La Trobe University, Australia offers La Trobe's Academic Excellence Scholarships (AES) which cover tuition fees for high-achieving international students accepted into undergraduate and postgraduate coursework programs. Worth between $10,000 and $20,000, these scholarships are paid across a maximum of two semesters (or 12 months).

If you receive this scholarship, you still need to pay for any difference in fees for your first two semesters, fees for the rest of your course, and your Overseas Student Health Cover. To continue receiving your scholarship into your second semester, you must maintain a C grade average.

Who is eligible?

You must be a citizen of a country other than Australia or New Zealand and be applying to start an undergraduate or postgraduate coursework program. You must also have scored 85% or equivalent in your previous degree/award, and meet our English language and academic entry requirements. You are not eligible if you are starting a Higher Degree by Research, exchange program, Study Abroad program, ELICOS and Foundation Studies program, or Diploma course.

Full Tuition Renewable Scholarships for international students from Humber College, Canada

International Entrance Scholarships

The scholarships are divided throughout our three semesters each year. Applications will be considered based on academics, community involvement, referee/reference letters and statement of interest. 

Humber offers three full tuition renewable scholarships . These scholarships are available for NEW international students only (two offered in September and one offered in January of each year).

Renewal of the scholarship will be based on the student's ability to maintain a 75% GPA in each year of his/her program at Humber. An application form will be included with your  acceptance package. The scholarships will be applied toward the successful students' tuition fees.
